It was determined yesterday that a popular retired Doctor on the Island committed suicide.
At the inquest into the death of 62-year-old Dr David Wallace Young it was revealed that he had suffered from depression.
His wife found his body at their Laxey home on 16th August.
The post mortem examination found that he died following a self-inflicted wound.
