Music star turned clean-water campaigner Feargal Sharkey has waded into the sewage row in Peel.
At the weekend, a community group reported seeing human waste, toilet roll and sanitary products washed up on the Sunset City's shoreline.
The claims led to an investigation by Manx Utilities, which said it couldn't find any evidence of sewage but reported a possible faulty manhole near the beach and said it's possible some waste blew ashore because of wind and tides.
Now, Feargal Sharkey - of "A Good Heart Fame" has spoken out on Twitter, saying: "If only the bloody wind had been blowing the other way you'd have never noticed we were dumping all that sewage into the sea".
