The Mountain Road is currently closed because of the poor weather conditions.
Police shut the route last night and say the situation will be reviewed at around 8am.
It comes following a one-vehicle crash between Brandywell and Windy Corner at around 10pm last night.
Authorities will be recovering the vehicle involved this morning.
