Politician questions risk of Easter meningitis outbreak

Could the Island face a meningitis outbreak over Easter?

Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh has posed a Tynwald question for written answer to Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford on the issue.

Mr Wannenburgh wants to know about the Island's meningitis vaccine stocks, and any gaps in immunisation.

And he also wants to know if there's a risk students returning for the Easter holidays could spark an outbreak of the disease.
