 
                                    The Island’s current style of policing cannot be sustained on the existing budgets.
That’s what Tynwald will be told today when the Chief Constable’s annual report goes before the court.In it Gary Roberts says the key to operational success lies in preventative neighbourhood policing but claims this will be unsustainable if projected budgets become a reality.
Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson will ask Members to receive the report – he says it’s likely a debate over priorities will follow:
