The Isle of Man Constabulary is warning of someone calling residents and posing as a police officer.
The force says it's receiving reports of members of the public getting phone calls from a 'PC 03 Armstrong,' who is ficticious.
Officers add that although they occasionally contact people by phone, if you are in any doubt that the person you're speaking to is from the police, you should confirm their identity.
You can contact Police directly through the switchboard on 631212.
