The Isle of Man Constabulary is warning of a scam circulating on the Roads Policing Unit Facebook page.
A fake profile has been replying to comments on the police's page, with people advised not to click the link attached.
Officers say the problem has been reported and the user has been blocked.
It's added that comments will be monitored and people should be aware that it's a scam and that the police have not been hacked.
