Authorities are warning residents over the latest phone scam which appears to be circulating.
According to officers, a woman with a foreign accent is claiming she works for Manx Telecom and is attempting to get hold of personal account details.
The constabulary says the calls have been made from a non-Island number.
Residents are being advised if you ever have doubts about who's contacting you to not give out personal information and end the call and not feel rushed or pressured into handing over personal data.
