The police are reminding learner drivers and riders to display their L-plates correctly.
A social media post stressed how a full-sized plate must be attached to both the front and rear of a vehicle in a vertical position.
The constabulary went on to point out that those mounted horizontally to the mudguards of motorcycles are not legal.
