The government has spent around £182,000 on Castletown police station in the past 18 years.
The figure was revealed by Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey in the House of Keys this week.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asked how much has been spent on refurbishing the historic police station since 2000.
In response, Mr Malarkey revealed more than £141,000 was spent renovating the building, and £2,300 a year's been spent to maintain it.
