Police searching for missing 78-year-old man

Police are urging residents to look out for a missing person from Douglas.

78-year-old Joseph Rice has been missing from Ballanard Court, at the bottom of Johnny Watterson's Lane, 'for some time.'

Officers are concerned for his welfare and Civil Defence teams searched the area last night - residents within this area are being asked to check their gardens, sheds and cars.

Police are also asking anyone who was driving in the area of Ballanard Road at around 1am onwards on 19th January, or who might have dashcam footage, to please contact police.
