Police say, 'secure your vehicle' following more car break ins

There’s been another spate of thefts from vehicles, this time in the Ballabeg area.

A large number of insecure vehicles were targeted in Friary Park and Ballanorris Crescent.

Items have been removed from several of these vehicles and discarded nearby along with items actually being stolen.

Police have described it as mindless acts of theft, they’re asking anyone with information to come forward to aid their inquiries. 

Motorists are urged to be vigilant and to remove items of value while their vehicles are unattended as well as making sure that they lock them.
