Ahead of Hop Tu Naa this weekend, police have issued a reminder to think of others when out trick or treating.
Isle of Man Constabulary took to social media to encourage people to be mindful that not everyone wants to take part in the tradition, and to be respectful of property and belongings of those who don't wish to participate.
The public are also reminded not to frighten the elderly or vulnerable within the community this spooky season.
If you do not wish for trick or treaters to visit your house, a sign that can be placed in your window is available on the Isle of Man Constabulary Facebook page.
