Police were called out to respond to an incident at a high school in Douglas this morning.
Authorities were called to St Ninians Lower School earlier today over what is being described as an 'isolated' matter.
The school is reassuring residents that all students and staff are safe and are now continuing the school day as normal.
It adds the issue was 'dealt with swiftly' by staff and the Constabulary.
