Police are reminding the public to take care of the Island's countryside this Spring.
Officers describe the season as a 'busy' and 'beautiful' time around our coastline, but are urging people to keep their dogs under control around animals such as lambs and birds.
They also are warning parents to keep their children closeby as cows with young calves can be very protective of their young and may charge at children if they stray close by.
The constabulary is asking residents to follow the countryside code - protect plants and animals, take your litter home, follow any signs and to consider other people.
