Police in the north of the Island have received reports of dogs being off leads near livestock.
Officers say the concerns have been raised in the area of Sulby and St Judes, with reports of dogs not being under proper control around farm land.
People are asked to be vigilant when in the countryside, and keep four legged friends under control whether out or at home.
It's advised not to exercise pets in fields you're not permitted to enter, and ensure garden and gates are secure.
