Police in the West of the Island have issued an update about the use of a lane in Peel after a woman was knocked by a car.
The lane runs from Peveril Road to Mountain View, with 'no motor vehicle' and 'except for access' signs on display, with drivers not permitted to drive through unless they are accessing a property.
Last week a woman's elbow was struck as she was walking her child home from school.
The Western Neighbourhood Policing team have spent the past few days patrolling the area and have spoken with nine drivers who have attempted to use the lane as a shortcut.
