Police have seized cocaine with a street value of £54,000 and £9000 in cash.
A 30-year old man from Douglas was arrested on Friday afternoon and has been charged with possession with intent to supply the 'Class A' controlled drug and assaulting a police officer.
The man will remain in police custody until tomorrow - which is the next available court date.
