The Isle of Man constabulary took to social media to share the tale.
It happened in Port Erin on Saturday morning, where PC Bartley and Faragher helped 'Leon' make his first appearance.
Police have thanked an off duty paramedic and midwife on the telephone - and have shared Mum and Baby are both doing well.
