A police officer has appeared in court charged with domestic abuse.
56 year old PC Mark David Hempsall of Ballaugh appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
No plea has yet been entered to an allegation he subjected a woman to physical and psychological abuse.
The case was adjourned until November 28 and he was bailed until that date.
