The Island’s police have confirmed the victim of yesterday’s fail to stop collision in Marathon Avenue.
Carolyn Buchan was a mother of two, had three grandchildren and a great grandson.
Her daughters Jane and Debbie say she was only seconds away from her house, and urge the driver responsible to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Newey says as the Island is a relatively small place, he finds it difficult to believe that whoever is responsible is the only person that knows their involvement.
The driver is asked to do the right thing and come forward to any Police Station, call 631212, or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111.
