Police have identified the motorcycle rider who died in a crash on the Mountain Road this morning.
The constabulary has confirmed 67-year-old Clive James McNeil of Onchan died of his injuries at the scene of the single-vehicle incident at Hillberry which happened between 4.45am and 5am today.
Authorities add they don’t believe any other people or vehicles were involved and the matter will be reported to the Coroner of Inquests.
Meanwhile, officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or was in the area at the time.
