The Isle of Man constabulary is conducting a recruitment drive.
They are on the look out for police constables and special constables who are prepared to "work really hard to serve their community".
Other essential qualities include patience, courage, flexibility and the ability to think and act quickly.
In his annual report this year earlier this year, the chief constable said retaining new police recruits has become "challenging".
Gary Roberts added that over the past year, several new officers left the force, with some saying the work was more difficult than expected.
