Police will launch a major operation to crack down on cross-border crime today.
Operation Strongbox is intended to tackle any potential problems that might come as the Island's borders reopen.
Police say they'll be carefully monitoring ports, freight and passengers to deal with any increase in drug trafficking and money-laundering.
Freight activity, fishing boats and aircraft will all be watched by a mixture of uniformed and plainclothes officers.
