Police are warning internet users of an email scam currently circulating online.
Isle of Man Constabulary issued a warning via social media, with screenshots of a fake Manx Telecom email claiming to notify customers of an upgrade.
Officers say any genuine emails from MT would not have a link to click or ask for login details.
Emails are said to be sent to 50 people at a time, which is not something the telecoms provider would do due to data protection rules.
