The Constabulary has received information that members of the public have made arrangements to sell items, goods have been exchanged, and then no money has been received.
Officers say the victims have given similar descriptions of a female aged about 20, with a similar car also being mentioned.
Police think it's the same person who has collected items and not made payment.
If you have more information, or are the person involved, you're asked to contact Police on 631212.
