The Police are currently investigating two incidents of criminal damage in the Governors Hill area, that they believe to be linked.
The first incident occurred overnight on New Year's Eve in the Stanley Mews area, where paint stripper was poured over the roof and bonnet of a blue Ford Focus car.
The second incident occurred yesterday around 11.45am where an object was thrown through a window of a terraced house, again on Stanley Mews.
None of the occupants of the house were injured, they were however shaken and upset.
House to house enquires are being undertaken and a police presence will be maintained in the area for public reassurance.
Anyone with information relating to either or both of the incidents is urged to come forward.
