Police are investigating a suspected burglary in Douglas that happened sometime during Saturday afternoon.
It was committed in a flat on Castlemona Avenue between 11.30am and 3.30pm.
During the theft a number of items were taken, including a quantity of cash and jewellery.
Officers would like to speak to anybody in the area at the time, including the rear lane parallel to Castlemona Avenue, or anybody who has become aware of persons suddenly being in possession of a quantity of unexplained cash or have seen anyone in the area carrying a small brown aged plastic suitcase.
