Police investigate scrap theft

Police are investigating after two rolls of lead were stolen from a building site in Lower Foxdale.

Someone broke into the site on Glenneedle Road between 5pm on Friday and 8.30am on Saturday.

At around 2am that morning, a white van - similar to a Citroen Dispatch - was seen in the area acting suspiciously.

The van had a black trim and had some form of signage on the side panels.

Police say all scrap dealers have been notified of the theft.
