Police in Ramsey are trying to trace the people responsible for what they’ve described as a mindless act of animal cruelty.
A swan was killed in the harbour area near to the bridge of Bowring Road at around 5pm on Saturday.
Police say they want to speak to three youths who were seen in the area at the time and who were later seen walking towards the town.
They are described as being between 14 and 16 with two wearing light blue hoodies and the other a black jacket.
CCTV footage from the area is being viewed to find out who is responsible.
Anyone with information has been asked to contact Ramsey Police Station or Crimestoppers.
