An investigation has been launched following a bizarre act of wilful damage in the private garden of Paul and Anna Adams.
Somebody has hacked down a line of 20ft high mature fir trees which fell on the boundary of their Onchan garden.
The felled trees where then dumped in the back lane of the property making it impassable to vehicles.
The fence at the bottom of the garden had been destroyed in the process, costing £450 to replace.
It’s not the first time the homeowners have been subjected to incidents like this, they’ve had car tyres deflated, car aerials snapped off and damage caused to their garden.
Anyone with more information is urged to contact the Police immediately.
