Police are appealing for witnesses after a man with a knife tried to rob a shop in Braddan.
He tried to steal money from Strang Stores at around 5:30pm on Monday but fled when the lone female employee refused to cooperate.
The man, who’s believed to be in his early 20s, was seen running through Strang Close into the Ballanawin Estate towards Cronk Grianagh.
He was dressed in dark clothing with his hood up - two other men thought to be involved were dressed in a similar fashion.
No-one was injured in the incident and the knife hasn't been recovered – police are asking anyone with information to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
