A Liverpool man accused of bringing £120,000 of drugs to the Island will appear in court again next month.
Thomas James Taylor of Lilly Green in Walton appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 46 year old has previously pleaded not guilty to producing cannabis and possessing the drug with intent to supply it.
Prosecutor James Robinson told the hearing Mr Taylor was arrested at the Falcon's Nest Hotel in Port Erin shortly after he arrived on the Island on April 25.
Officers searched his Citroen Berlingo and discovered six kilos of drugs - Mr Taylor said he'd borrowed the van and knew nothing about the cannabis.
He told police he was on the Island to tender for electrical work, but couldn't give them the address of the site.
Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody and he'll appear again on June 4.
