The police are asking for help with a family history matter - trying to return historical artefacts belonging to a former police sergeant.
The Constabulary wants to find the relatives of Sergeant John Stanley Quaye, who first donned a uniform in 1917.
They say they have a number of personal effects of his and would like to return them to the family.
Sergeant Quaye served the last of his 30 year career in Onchan - anyone with info can contact the Chief Constable’s Office via Sarah.Kennaugh@iom.police.uk
