Police drone project fails to get off the ground

Officers had planned to use the device during this year's Festival of Motorcycling to provide support with evidence gathering at crash sites and crime scenes: 

 

 

During the fortnight there was only one crash which resulted in a serious injury - crashes around the Island were also down 18 per cent on last year's figures.
