The Island’s Police Dog Unit has welcomed a new recruit as Simba has now passed his training.
The unit also announced that after 8 weeks of training, PD Umbro passed his yearly licence and will continue with his service.
PD Simba is now a fully fledged police dog and has his first shift on duty next weekend.
It adds that this now means PD Oscar can officially retire after 5 years of service.
