The island's chief constable has spoken out in support of mental health carers on the Isle of Man.
In a recent tweet Gary Roberts said he has "huge sympathy" with his collegues in the department because the "pressures are great".
It comes after Manx Care revealed an 83% surge in demand for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in two years.
The organisation is planning a multi-agency approach to help address the problem.
A spokesman said the surge in demand is "part due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and consequent lockdowns".
Mr Roberts added that the police force has also seen changing patterns of behaviour since the pandemic.
