Police appealing for safe hop-tu-naa

Zero tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour

Revelers young and old are being reminded that the police are taking a zero tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour this Hop-tu-Naa.

It's a holiday traditionally linked with incidents, however cases have been on the decline due in part to what is referred to as intelligence led policing.

The festivities will begin tomorrow night with themed parties all over the Island, with this in mind the police are asking people to drink responsibly.

For the night itself children should be accompanied by adults, with the police asking the public to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour they witness.
