Police are appealing for the public’s help after a large quantity of tyres were dumped on the Poortown Road.
They were discovered on Saturday by a member of the Four Wheel Drive Club near to the turn off at Tynwald Mills.
Officers say there have been several instances of ‘tyre dumping’ around the Island over the last few years.
Anyone who saw people transporting the tyres, or parked up in this location, has been asked to contact Peel Police Station.
