Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a fight took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The constabulary says a group of males were involved in the fight in Strand Street, Douglas and one male required hospital treatment.
They add some members of the public tried to intervene to stop the fight at around 1.55am Sunday July 13.
