Police have put out an appeal following a serious assault in Douglas over the weekend.
It happened in the area of Princes Avenue between the hours of midnight on Friday, and 8am on Saturday, and led to the armed response unit occupying the street for most of the day.
A number of enquiries are currently ongoing, and an arrest has been made, but the public are asked to check any doorbell or motion sensor dash cam footage in that area, or surrounding area.
If you have any information you're asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
