Male Released From Hospital Following Hit and Run

Police are still appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in the early hours of last Saturday morning, which saw a 20 year old male hit by a vehicle.

The male was walking along Derby Road at about 2am when he was struck by a car possibly dark in colour – the vehicle failed to stop and was last seen driving toward Woodbourne Road.

The pedestrian was taken to Nobles where he was detained with concussion, he has since been released.
