Police appeal following two vehicle collision

The RTC occurred on the Ballaoates Road outside the entrance to The Union Mills Football Club at around 6.30pm on Saturday.

Police have launched an investigation following a two vehicle Road Traffic Collision over the weekend.

The RTC occurred on the Ballaoates Road outside the entrance to The Union Mills Football Club at around 6.30pm on Saturday.

The collision involved a red Ford Focus driven by a Douglas woman travelling towards Douglas, and a Yamaha motorbike.

The rider of the motorcycle required hospital treatment but was discharged later that evening with minor injuries.

The Police are appealing to any witnesses who saw what happened to come forward.
