Police have put out an appeal for information after a dog was attacked by a stray Rottweiler over the weekend.
It happened last night at 9.45pm as a woman was walking her dog at the end of Urley Path near to Anagh Coar School.
The Rottweiler was roaming the streets without an owner; despite only suffering mild injuries the concern of the police is it could have been a different story if it was a child that'd been attacked.
Police want to hear from any Rottweiler owners in the area, or any witnesses to the incident.
All information will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
