Police are investigating after a woman was almost hit by a car in Laxey.
The near-miss happened at around 11:00 last Thursday while a woman was crossing the Church Hill road in the village.
Police said a dark coloured car coming from Douglas, turned onto the road while she was halfway across, causing her to jump back and put her hands on the bonnet.
Police are looking to speak to the driver or anyone who witnessed the incident.
