Police are appealing for information after an serious assault resulting in a man needing hospital treatment for head injuries.
The incident happened at around 9:10pm yesterday evening near the bus stop outside Tynwald Terrace in Strang.
Officers say the male offender, who is believed to have been in dark clothing, made off into the Strang Close housing estate.
The Constabulary is particularly interested in speaking to the driver of a white Range Rover Evoke who drove past at the time, or any drivers with dash cam footage.
They are also appealing to those who live in any of the nearby estates who may have CCTV footage.
