Police are appealing for information after an 'altercation' left a man needing hospital treatment.
Officers say it happened sometime between 1.30pm - 1.50pm yesterday on Melbourne Street in Douglas.
It was 'in the vicinity' of a parked white van and left a 48-year-old man injured and needing medical assistance.
The constabulary believes there were members of the public present, so are appealing for anyone who witnessed the altercation to call Police Headquarters on 631212.
