Police and Fire Service attend Ben-my-Chree in Douglas Bay

Police and fire crews are attending a 'technical issue' on the Ben-my-Chree in Douglas Bay - with passengers still on-board.

Currently unable to reach the landing bay - the Steam Packet vessel encountered problems as it began to berth from its journey to Douglas from Heysham.

As a result, the 7:45pm outward bound journey back to Heysham has been delayed whilst engineers assess the damage.

The presence of divers has been requested to rectify the problem.
