Most notable of all the orders being put forward for approval would be the revision to the Road Order Act, which if passed will see the restrictions on where taxi’s can ply their trade lifted.
This will mean taxi’s will no longer have to operate solely in the districts they were licensed too. Taxi drivers are to protest outside Tynwald this morning.
Approval will also be sought for a housing development on the former Army Camp in Jurby.
The development would see four properties built specifically for older tenants; it would cost roughly £755,000.
