Replacing play equipment on Laxey Promenade could cost up to £120,000, according to Garff Commissioners.
At the board's last meeting, members discussed the project to update and improve the Laxey Promenade Play Area.
The local authority heard installing 'inclusive' play equipment, new flooring and fencing could cost between £80,000 and £120,000.
The board said it would continue considering the scheme but needed more information about costs and funding.
